Yeah Yeah Yeahs - "Dull Life"Another letdown from this year was the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs disk, It's Blitz! which was mostly wrecked by synths, a common killer of good bands. But I recently discovered that it's not all bad. "Dull Life" is one of two or three songs I've found that are actually quite good and sound nothing like"Zero" or "Heads Will Roll." It actually sounds like a real YYYs song, especially one from their Is Is EP from a few summers ago, which was probably my favorite album by the band. I still don't plan on buying this album, but it may have come to that if this was the only song I'd heard from it.
