Kevin Drew - "Fucked Up Kid"I was never really big on Broken Social Scene until I heard some of Kevin Drew's solo work and I sort of felt attracted to his voice. I always thought that Feist did all the singing for the band, so that's probably why I never looked into them. But I recently learned that Drew sounds best when he's backed by the band, especially on the BSS Presents album, Spirit If... Technically, it is a solo album, but other members of the band contribute their talents to the album as well. I know that it doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's definitely my favorite piece of music by the band. This song particularly gives me chills, mostly due to Drew's lyrics. Truly lovely.
