A Place To Bury Strangers - "Ocean"Like most people, I'm sure, it took me quite some time to get into this band. Upon first listen, all of their songs just sound like noise. But after a few more plays, you become more and more familiar with the songs and you notice that they aren't so bad. "Ocean" was the first song I heard by them that I was able to listen to more than once. I'm sure that if I knew which songs I'd heard before this one, I'd be able to look them up and probably enjoy them. But it was this song that helped me to deal with all the noise. The Joy Division comparisons really aren't too evident in this song particularly, especially near the end when it just turns into ear-shattering noise. Not the catchiest of their songs, but very good nonetheless.
