Snowden - "Sisters"

Although it's not my favorite track off their 2006 debut, "Sisters" is definitely the most interesting. A hauntingly beautiful acoustic ballad is not expected after an entire album of fast-paced drums and heavy, distorted bass. It obviously doesn't fit their genre but it makes you think a little bit: if these guys are able to successfully change up their style so much for just one track, imagine what the future may hold. I haven't heard any word of a new album, but I'll be interested to hear what they're working on. Hopefully they include at least one surprise track like this. And it really was the perfect ending to a great piece of music. It's a shame this band doesn't get a whole lot of attention.
