Great Northern - "Houses"Oddly enough, I found this song on a free download website, but I ended up (God forbid) spending money on it. I sampled it and fell in love with it immediately, but for some reason it would not save to my computer. Anyways, what we have here is yet another successful knockoff of Metric, that's actually much better. I'm not quite sure who was around first, but really the only difference between the two is that Metric is actually from the Great North. Not to be confused with their other standout track, "Home," "Houses" is a very fast-paced and exciting piece fit for just about any movie or TV soundtrack. I was a little wary about listening to this band because of Solon Bixler's past with 30 Seconds to Mars, but this band turned out quite alright.
