I know I'm a little late, but this truly is one of the greatest songs of 2009. Having first heard it about a week ago, I wasn't able to slap it on my top 100, even though it definitely ranks among the top 20 for the year. I always assume collaborations like this are just way overrated, but Noah Lennox and Bradford Cox sound as if they were meant to work together, their styles being so similar. This actually fits in perfectly with my last few posts, as it's not only one of the most uplifting songs I've heard in recent years, but its playfulness is reminiscent of a Very Most or a Holy Fuck. It's amazing the way they make it seem so effortless, as if they're just throwing something together then and there. But I guess that's what happens when you pair up two of the biggest musical geniuses of our time with nothing but a keyboard and some microphones.
