Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - "Upon This Tidal Wave of Young Blood"I don't consider myself a Clap Your Hands Say Yeah fan, but a few of their songs are just so similar to a Talking Heads track that I just can't help myself. The first one that comes to mind, "Upon This Title Wave of Young Blood," has already fooled a number of my friends and family who thought David Byrne was singing in some sort of strange side project. But the fact that the band didn't pull a Coldplay and copy a Talking Heads album note for note gains them a load of respect from me and many others. CYHSY manages to find the perfect balance between influence and plagiarism, even though the product isn't always great (which is evident in most of Some Loud Thunder). This song may take some getting used to if you're not familiar with the band, but it's worth it on the end.
