Modest Mouse - "The Stars Are Projectors"

I try to avoid picking songs by bands as mainstream as Modest Mouse, but chances are, this is a different Modest Mouse than the band most people are familiar with. This is from before the days of "Float On" and "Dashboard," a sort of dark, wonderful, and definitely underrated age for the band. I always found the longer songs on their albums to be the most beautiful, as is the case of "Teeth like God's Shoeshine," and more recently "Spitting Venom" and "The Whale Song." However, this song is a lot more Built To Spill-like in it's constant change of pace and unexpected twists, as well as the deep lyrics. I've never heard anyone use symbolism in their songs so frequently and flawlessly as Mr. Isaac Brock.
