Dappled Cities Fly - "Peach"Back before they were just called Dappled Cities, DCF had mastered the art of writing a simple pop song. Not to put down their newer stuff, but this is sort of like comparing First Impression of Earth to Is This It -- two albums by the same artist that are both good in very different ways. They almost sound like two completely separate bands, both of which are actually quite good. In my library, this song is quite literally the peach in the apple tree, as the rest of my songs by the band are from their newer albums under the shortened name. It's always good to go back and celebrate the good ol' days of the band. The change may have been for the better, but I'll always remember them for this song.
