The Big Pink - "Dominos"For some reason, I've always thought of this song as sort of a guilty pleasure. Sure, it fits in with the rest of the music in my library fine, but it might be the fact that I've been avoiding British bands lately that makes me a little wary every time I listen to it. When you take a step back, the song really is pretty bad. It really just sounds like the garbage pop music ruling the charts these days, or even an annoying "indie" act like Passion Pit. But honestly, I don't think I've ever heard a chorus as infectiously catchy as this one. This song will literally get stuck in your head for weeks at a time and it will slowly grow on you. There's really no escaping it and whether you admit it or not, you love this song too.
