Bloc Party - "Halo"After being nagged for well over a year to give Bloc Party another shot, I finally gave in to my friend's request and downloaded "Halo." As most people know, the band has only gone downhill since their brilliant debut in '05, and I thought 2007's A Weekend in the City was evidence that they would never return. But hearing this song gives me hope that someday, they may actually come close to the success of Silent Alarm, even if it takes them a few trys. Oddly enough, I told my buddy that I'd fallen in love with the song and he informed me that it was the worst one on the album. We'll just have to see about that.
