Holy Fuck - "Lovely Allen"Ah, Spring. Time to break out all those joyous, colorful instrumental tracks that have been hiding behind Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes all winter. I'll tell you what, it doesn't get much better than driving around the peninsula with my windows down cranking some Holy Fuck, with the smell of skunks and dead fish wafting through my car. This song particularly takes me back to better times, no matter what season we're in. As much as I complain about instrumental music, HF really nailed this song, making it the perfect background music for just about anything I do in the coming months. Even though we may be expecting a new album this year, "Lovely Allen" will never go out of style.
