I found out about these guys a few years ago when I picked up the Spider-man 3 soundtrack, which, by the way, was the only good thing to come about from that series. Anyway, I had to buy the whole album when I heard "Small Parts," and I was pleased that there were a few songs that were on that same level, most notably this one. Being the most flawless on the album, "Tripped" sounds like a solid indie pop song, but still manages to maintain the sass that makes bands like Be Your Own Pet great. Also, the lyrics are far superior to most of the other lyrics the band has written, even though they've sort of struggled in that department. I'd say this is the perfect summer anti-love song for fans of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
