Caesars - "Spirit"

Well, fall is here. And no other song in my library captures the imagery and overall feel of autumn like "Spirit." This song is rather uncharacteristically well written for the band best known for their made-famous-by-iPod-ad dance anthem "Jerk It Out." Like the majority of all other Caesars fans, I came across them this way and was surprised to hear this side of them. But like the album's title track, "Spirit" differs from "Jerk It Out" and the rest of the band's catalogue due to its dependence on great writing instead of catchy pop hooks alone. I like the sort of nostalgic autumn evening feel it has to it. Not many bands have the ability (and diversity) to produce tracks like this.
