Arcade Fire - "Neighborhood #2 (Laika)"

I remember the day I first heard this song. I was in eighth grade and I was still sort of forming my musical taste. At the time I was big on Gorillaz, Switchfoot, and Green Day, and I thank the Lord that I found this song on time. This song, along with a few Modest Mouse tracks, helped me avoid listening to the same garbage the majority of the other kids my age listen to. It helped me realize that different isn't always a bad thing; in fact, it's quite the opposite. I'm not too into The Arcade Fire these days, as I've sort of worn out both of their albums. But every once in a while I'll treat myself to this song or "Haiti" or a handful of others to keep up the ol' play count.
