Neutral Milk Hotel - [Untitled]

If you ask any indie rock fan what their favorite NMH song is, there's a forty-nine percent chance they'll say "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" and a forty-nine percent chance they'll say "Holland, 1945." What about the other two percent? Well, if they're like me, they'd go with the untitled instrumental track at the end of their In The Aeroplane Over The Sea album. I don't know why, but I've always loved this song, even before I could stand Jeff Magnum's peculiar voice. Bagpipes usually annoy the crap out of me, but they're just so awful in this song that they're beautiful in a sort of complicated way. Words really can't describe this song, so I'm just gonna stop here and trust that you'll give it a listen.
