Broken Spindles - "Introvert"I've been listening to a lot of The Faint recently, so I figured I'd give their side project(s?) a listen. Broken Spindles is the work of bassist/guitarist Joel Petersen (also formerly of Beep Beep) and even though it sounds nothing like The Faint, the influence is obvious. Maybe if The Faint toned their act down a couple notches, the two would be somewhat similar, but this song is just way too mellow to be a product of his main act. Even though it's just under two minutes long, it's probably still his best track, as well as his most accessible. Petersen truly is the Jonny Greenwood of modern electronica.
