I usually don't listen to most of my recommendations, but last.fm seemed pretty adamant about having me listen to this band. I'm glad I did, because this is exactly the weird kind of stuff I've been listening to as of lately. Not only is it driven by piano, but it also contains all sorts of odd string arrangements performed by none other than Sara Neufield of The Arcade Fire. I wouldn't quite put this song in the same category as, say, The Arcade Fire or Final Fantasy (sorry, I mean Owen Pallett), as this is more upbeat and overall much more satisfying in a way. But the amount of creativity poured into this little project does reflect that of Pallett and the Butler boys. I guess I should listen to last.fm more often.
