Easily the most underrated band of the year, South Ambulance released two stunning, creatively named EPs this past year, EP#4 and EP#5. There really aren't any bad tracks on either, but one of my favorites would have to be the shortest and sweetest of the bunch, "Flowers." At just over a minute and a half, the band packs a heavy punch, as the song only gets more powerful as it winds down. While other energetic, indie pop artists like Wavves have been getting all the attention lately, few people are aware of the most original and catchy of these young new bands, being from Sweden and all. I know I say this often, but I really mean it this time: there is no other band like this one.
