The Builders & The Butchers - "Barcelona"

Shit, this is just the Decemberists, isn't it? I swear to you, the singer of this band has to be Colin Meloy's brother since they sound alike in the same way brothers look alike, as opposed to people who look like celebrities. You know what I'm talking about. Also, aside from all the instruments being just a bit off, they, too, sound remarkably Decemberistic in an odd sort of way. My first impression of this song was that it actually was the Decemberists, only someone had messed with the sound on my computer. Anyway, these Portland (like the Decemberists!) folk rockers (like the Decemberists!) do have their own style it turns out, which is a tad more energetic and peppy than that of the Decemberists, giving them a slight edge in the live music category. So yeah, other than that they're basically just the Decemberists (just look at those outfits!).
