Vampire Weekend - "Exit Music (For a Film)"

I need to get something off my chest. I've hated Vampire Weekend for what seems like ages now, despising their debut album as soon as I heard "Horchata" (that is the on the first one, right? they all sound the same to me) and saw their stupid faces. The fact that I hate them is a well known fact, but what I need to confess is that their contribution to Stereogum's OK Computer tribute is actually one of the best on the album. We must remember that this was before they were popular, but I was still really surprised that they didn't screw up one of my favorite Radiohead songs. This is the first time I've listened to a VW song and not gotten a headache from all the "oy"s and pretend British accents and choppy guitars and overly peppy drums and everything else I hate about music. Anyway, I just felt like I needed to give the guys props, as I never thought I'd have anything positive to say about them.
