Delta Spirit - "Bushwick Blues"
I may be relatively new to Delta Spirit, but I'm still very impressed. "People C'mon," I'll admit, is a great song, but what they did on the new album was a huge improvement. Similar to the new Morning Benders album, the band made a huge leap from pleasant little indie pop band to holy shit these guys absolutely know what they're doing and I totally respect them band, which seem to be pretty scarce these days. I guess they're more comparable to Wild Sweet Orange who burst onto the music scene a few years ago with their own style of angsty, yet sort of folksy rock. I haven't heard a whole lot of that since, so I'm glad DS was able pick up where they left off.
