Mobius Band - "The Loving Sound of Static"I've only recently become a fan of Mobius Band but I feel I know them inside and out. Although I love the experimental nature and fun-loving spirit of Heaven, my favorite song of theirs is from an earlier album. I don't want to say this song is bland, but it's a lot more relaxed than their newer songs and there are far less synths throughout the song. I've always had a thing for sort of quiet songs with fast drums, my favorite being "Everyone Who Pretended To Like Me Is Gone" from TheWalkmen's debut album of the same name. When you really listen you can hear a little Walkmen influence in just about everything but the vocals as the two vocalists have very different styles. Also, you might wanna check out the video. If I remember correctly, that was the reason I bought the song in the first place.
