The Octopus Project - "Queen"Instrumental bands usually tend to get on my nerves. Unfortunately, I was peer pressured into buying an Octopus Project album on iTunes one day after hearing the song "Truck" and thinking I'd be able to listen to a solid half hour of that stuff. By the end of the album I was relieved and pleasantly surprised to hear that the last track did have lyrics, and the singing wasn't bad at all. I think that these guys could get away with an album full of songs like this, or at least do it under a different moniker. People seem to dig the quiet, effortless vocals these days. I never thought The Octopus Project and Yo La Tengo would ever sound so similar.
