Most people have only heard of this band from XM radio or by their song "C'mon C'mon" from the show Rescue Me, but they're really missing out on what makes these guys so great. "Pawn Shoppe Heart" is one of the craziest guitar songs I have ever heard, and Jason Stollstiemer's passionate howling only adds to the chaos. The best part of the whole album comes two or three minutes after the song ends when Stollstiemer's voice shatters the silence and almost always scares the shit out of me. You can always spot a respectable musician because he or she can just yell and play loud chords and still make it sound great. Even for the Von Bondies, this song is brilliantly written.
