Sparklehorse - "Someday I Will Treat You Good"If you hadn't noticed, my taste in music is almost strictly made up of new bands, or basically just new music in general. However, every once in a while I'll come across someone like Sparklehorse who hasn't been too busy in recent years, but I still dig the old stuff. Last I heard, Linkous was working with Danger Mouse on a big 'ol collaboration album, but nothing will compare to the energy shown on the band's debut almost fifteen years ago. I can't say I'm too familiar with his work in the years between this and Dark Night of the Soul, but I've read several reviews saying that nothing tops the Sparklehorse of the '90s. I may not always agree with these sources, but we'll just have to wait and see what they dish out next.
