I'm sick of this. I'm so tired of hearing people react to Merriweather Post Pavilion with "that's it?" I mean, honestly, it was hyped up quite a bit, but how can you not fall in love with with "Summertime Clothes" or "Brother Sport?" Even though these are obviously the best tracks, "In The Flowers" was the perfect song to set the scene for the band's breakthrough record. I can't help but get chills everytime Panda Bear delivers the line "if I could just leave my body for a night" and suddenly a wall of noise is regurgitated from your headphones straight into your soul. Even when you're wide awake, your vision is suddenly blocked out by a tizzy of flying colors and you're suddenly floating on clouds. I don't care what you pretentious sticklers have to say about Animal Collective, but this stuff is better than anything you're smoking.
