So awhile ago I came across that Jaydiohead album (a Jay-Z + Radiohead mash-up, for those of you who are uncultured) and was a quite disgusted and somewhat confused. None of the songs really fit together, with the exception of the one Radiohead song I'd never heard before, which I had assumed was on Kid A because that was the only album I didn't own at the time. But it has recently come to my attention that the name of the song is "Gagging Order," and it comes from the Go To Sleep EP. Strangely enough, I think I might like it better with Jay-Z in it, but the original version is still way better than any of the songs that were actually on Hail to the Thief. At the height of my Radiohead obsession, I went through a ton of their b-sides only to find that most of them were garbage. But this little gem has proven to be one of the band's prettiest songs to date and proof that the Hail to the Thief sessions weren't a complete waste.
